Licensed Clinical Therapist

This position is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current work income or gradually transition into full time private practice. Our clinicians control their own schedules and are free to choose the times that work best for them. We ask that you see, at minimum, 10 clients a week. The practice takes care of managing referrals, collecting paperwork, and setting up client charts, as well as billing, support, and operations.

The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for the following:

  • Effectively manage the clinical progression of each client to ensure their personal treatment goals are comprehensively addressed.

  • Ensure client safety is prioritized and the appropriate protocol, as per the standards of your professional code of ethics, is consistently adhered to.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling and client’s progress in resolving identified problems and moving towards defined goals and objectives.

  • Refer client and/or family members to community resources or to specialist as necessary.

  • Maintain confidentiality of records.

  • Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including assessments, client diagnostic records, progress notes, etc. in a timely fashion in the secured platform provided by AUCC.

  • Attending monthly team meetings

  • Attend regular in-service training and/or staff meetings as prescribed by AUCC.

Preferred Skills/Requirements:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Must be licensed in the state of Florida

  • Professional Liability Insurance (required)

  • Experience with victims of Trauma, Depression, Anxiety preferred.

  • Timely clinical documentation and record keeping.

  • Has a current caseload that is transferrable (is a plus)
